This incredible 57’ x 10’ Memorial Wall will contain nine “seals” forged from dozens of layers of Stainless Steel. The Presidential Seal, honoring the Commander-In-Chief of the Armed Forces, will be the centerpiece of the Wall; flanked on either side with the official emblems of the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, and National Guard; along with the badges of America’s First Responders in law enforcement, and fire and rescue. Having been completed, the Wall will tour the United States, and will also feature several Mobile Musuems / Education Centers.

About the process
Each of the 9 seals is being created from hundreds of pieces of laser-cut stainless steel that are welded into multiple layers, powder coated for permanent color, and mounted on layers of LED light-embedded acrylic glass. Pictured here is the completed Presidential Seal with its 607 individual pieces of stainless steel. To understand the complexity of each Seal, the Eagle alone is made of over 200 pieces!

TIMOTHY LAMPROS, the artist who designed and built America’s Wall of Honor, served in the United States Air Force on the crash/fire/rescue team for the Space Shuttle….
LAPD End of Watch Wall
This is not the first Memorial Wall built by Artist Timothy Lampros. He also designed and built the “End of Watch” Memorial Wall for the 207 LAPD Police Officers killed in the line of Duty. Read about that project here.
